“Endurance is one of the most difficult disciplines, but it is to the one who endures that the final victory comes.” -Buddha
I began my yoga practice in 2012 when HYU first opened its doors. I instantly fell in love! I never felt at home in a gym setting and hot yoga became my outlet for physical, mental, and spiritual growth. In November of 2018, I completed my 200-hour teacher training at HYU. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done, but I believe that through endurance and discipline, we can achieve any and all of our goals. The hatha class has always been at the core of my practice, it is a true meditation in motion. I also love exploring all avenues yoga has to offer, Yoga Nidra, Kundalini Yoga, and Yin to name just a few.
HYU has been a place close to my heart for many years. It is more than a studio to me, it is a community of kind, generous, and loving people who welcome you in the moment they meet you. I am beyond honored and humbled to be a part of this amazing place.
I look forward to seeing everyone on their mats!
