Originally from Milwaukee area, Wisconsin, Emma moved to Arizona to pursue her education at ASU. She began my yoga journey in 2016 at Hot Yoga University. She tried out a few other studios but loved the teachers and environment that made HYU feel like a family. In 2018, Emma took a big leap of faith and started teacher training with Karin graduating in March.

In 2019 she began a year of travel around the world. One of her stops included a 300 hour Yoga Training in Rishikesh, India which she graduated from at the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic. She barely made it out of India before all travel was suspended. We are grateful to have Emma back home safe and sound and excited for her to share her stories with us.

Her hobbies outside of the yoga room are fitness, traveling, and hanging by the pool with friends. She is so excited for the continuous journey yoga will bring her and the wonderful people she’s have yet to meet along the way!
