Former corporate warrior shares her journey into yoga, becoming a full-time teacher, and opening a heart-centered studio with her husband.

Most would-be yogipreneurs would be justifiably intimidated at the thought of starting a yoga studio in Scottsdale, Arizona. The city, known for its heat, has a lively yoga scene and more than its fair share of excellent teachers and studios.

Karin Fellman didn’t let any of this worry her. Instead, she got focused on finding a way to bring a heart-centered community together and make yoga affordable to everyone. The result was Hot Yoga University.

Her organic approach to growth relied on the fundamentals of providing quality yoga instruction and providing an environment that is welcoming and supportive. This lead to strong word-of-mouth recommendations and a strong fan base of people from all walks of life.
