Become the Path

“You cannot travel on the path until you become the path itself.” -Buddha

I love my Thursday night classes! In the 4:45 MY Mindful Yoga I’m enjoying the opportunity to teach a slower paced, eyes closed when able, integrated practice. My favorite part is the 10 minute guided meditation at the end.

Today’s was a journey and when it was over, they opened their eyes…looking and feeling relaxed and brand new.

Bhakti Vin was beautiful too…1/2 the room had never taken Bhakti and that made me want to give them all I had! Only teaching these 2 new innovative classes once a week, def slows down the learning curve but I’m getting there!

The chanting was strong with everyone catching on fast to this month’s chant:

“Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu…”

“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”

A powerful and appropriate chant for the world we live in.

I do love the smaller room and the connection and closeness with the students. Bhakti is the yoga of love and devotion and you can feel that loving energy in the room.

My favorite part of Bhakti? Giving hands on adjustments during Shavasana, I am humbled and grateful to be so trusted to adjust hands, feet or even cradle a completely relaxed head in my hands.

Yoga is the path…and I am blessed beyond measure.

Peace,

Karin xx
