We Are Moving
We recently, celebrated our fourth anniversary without much fanfare but behind the scenes, there’s been a ton of excitement as we’ve been busily preparing for a celebration of epic proportions.
HYU is moving to Wilshire Plaza, just a half mile up the street on Scottsdale road. It’s a quiet center that is being retenanted by Ox Urban properties with some great local family owned businesses.
Our new studio will give us all some much needed space in the yoga room and in the changing areas too. The increase of 1600 square feet allowed us to build a larger hot room and to even add a non-heated room!
We are living up to our tag line-Hot Yoga Evolved by stepping out of the hotbox again to offer a full schedule of non-heated classes right along side our current full hot schedule!
We have added a fun class for advanced hot yogis too – MPF Masters Phenomenal Flow- an original, dynamic and energizing vinyasa flow created by your favorite HYU teachers.
Our non-heated classes are unique, all levels classes, geared towards yogis who like to practice without the added heat.
YN Yoga Nidra will move to the Non heated room along with:
MY Mindful Yoga- A sequence of postures to work the entire body with a focus on mindful movement, awareness of energy and meditation.
BV Bhakti Vin- A heart centered, slower paced flow, with a focus on love and devotion. The intention and focus of this class is to bring us closer to the God of our own understanding, awakening kindness, gratitude and compassion.
VPC Vinyasa Pilates Core- A fusion of vinyasa flow with standing and mat pilates, targeting abominals, glutes, arms and thighs.
HK Hot Kids- A fun uplifitng class for children ages 3-8 with an emphasis on basic yoga principles, breath awareness, balance, coordination and gross/fine motor skills.
Y Yin – This deep stretching class targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body and is a perfect complement to our dynamic and muscular (yang) classes.
